CCASA coordinates monthly SART Group meetings for those in Colorado who are centering the voices of survivors and addressing sexual violence within their community through engaging in coordinated, collaborative efforts. These efforts are often called Sexual Assault Response Teams (SARTs), Coordinated Community Responses (CCRs), or Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) and can exist within a county, judicial district, city, campus, Tribal community, or other jurisdiction and community.
The SART group is co-lead by Sierra Agens, Training and Technical Assistance Manager, and Jordan Rhodes, Sexual Assault Response Program Manager. We come together to build connections, share information and resources, discuss training opportunities, and troubleshoot issues. Meetings are held virtually each month on the 4th Tuesday of the month, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
We value and welcome everyone’s participation and opinions. During each SART group meeting, we focus on an area that the group is interested in learning and talking about. Our hope is these meetings build connection and community for members, while allowing us to learn from one another. The SART Group is also a great place for CCASA to learn about and address members’ training and technical assistance needs.
