In part one, Understanding Incest in Rural Communities, we defined incest, discussed the gaps in response and community understanding, and explored solutions to meeting the needs of survivors, their families, and communities.

In part two, Interview with an Expert, we spoke with Josephine A. Lauren MST, co-founder of INCEST AWARE, as we discussed family sexual violence, ruralness, and how advocates can respond.

In part three, Recognizing Sexual Coercion and Harassment in Rural Families, we focused on recognizing and contextualizing non-context sexual violence that occurs between relatives, and focused on different ways to provide support for survivors. r questions or to build support for incest survivors in your area, reach out to the RSP rural team!
