Worth as a Sexual Violence Advocacy Practice in Rural Programs

Sexual violence survivors deserve better’ is one of the pivotal findings from the SADI project. With support from sexual violence advocates, communities can grow and change how survivors’ worth is viewed in the community.

During this webinar, attendees will:

  • • Reflect on the importance of worth as an aspect of healing-centered advocacy and services
    • Analyze the gaps between the availability of support to sexual violence survivors needs
    • Evaluate their demonstration of survivor’s worth in all aspects of their programming and organizations and
    • Identify practical skills and strategies for promoting worth, dignity, and respect for rural survivors and their communities
