Caring for Native Survivors: Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Exams
November 12, 2025
11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (PT)
Native survivors may live in rural, urban, or Tribal communities, with diverse needs and varying connections to culture and community. Providing healing-centered care requires recognizing these varied experiences and identities, as well as the sovereign status of Tribal Nations.
This free webinar will equip professionals with practical strategies to deliver survivor-centered medical forensic care and advocacy. Participants will identify ways to honor survivor choice, provide meaningful support, and avoid harmful assumptions, ensuring Native survivors of sexual assault receive the dignity, respect, and quality of care they deserve.
ASL interpretation and closed captioning in English are available. Contact info@evawintl.org by October 29 for additional language interpretation
