Beyond Therapy Dogs: Innovative Animal-Assisted Approaches to Healing Trauma & Sexual Assault

Webinar

Wednesday, February 25, 2025

10:00 – 11:30 am

Dogs and horses aren’t the only animals with healing power. This dynamic webinar explores how “unexpected” animal partners—like goats, cats, and other domesticated species—can support trauma recovery and healing after sexual assault. Through real client video clips, participants will learn how multi-species animal interventions can spark insight, enhance safety and empowerment, and deepen trauma-responsive counseling and advocacy work.
