Somatic, mindfulness-based and experiential therapies have been found to be effective in mitigating many of the challenging symptoms resulting from the deep neurological mapping of this experience.<\/p>\n<p>This presentation will introduce you to one of these experiential therapies; Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP), where horses are partnered with facilitators in the healing process. You will learn the why and how horses are such powerful agents of healing for sexual violence. The presenters apply the current theories of bio\/neuro\/psycho\/social to working with these amazing beings.
